19 year old prodigy Lindsey Horan has earned her second call up to the full Women's National Team for its November 10th game against Brazil at the Citrus Bowl in Florida.
"It's incredible to be training and playing with the best players in the world again. Obviously anytime I get called in with the National Team I am so honored," commented Lindsey. "They're giving me another opportunity to prove myself and I am so grateful for that. It's also a plus to be back in my home country!!"
Horan, who is currently playing with her club team PSG in France, will make her second stint with the full national team and her first since the Algarve Cup in March where she earned her first cap. Horan is off to a solid start at PSG with 5 goals in her first seven games of the season.
“Linds is a second year pro now for a European football giant and continues to gain invaluable experience. She is in good form at the moment and if given the chance against Brazil I know she will do well,” exclaimed Colorado Rush Technical Director Erik Bushey upon hearing of Lindsey's call up.
NBC will broadcast the game on Sunday at 3:30PM Eastern time. Lindsey will look to earn some play time with other forwards Sydney Leroux, Alex Morgan and Abby Wambach.
