The three-week visit was part of the “RushConnect” Program, which is generously funded by the US Department of State’s Sports United office. The RushConnect Program promotes cultural understanding between citizens of the United States and Cameroon by training youth soccer coaches to organize and manage youth soccer activities that support player success in soccer and in life. Staff and coaches from Rush Soccer and Rush FC Bali will work in close partnership to share expertise and identify best practices in club development that give Bali Nyonga youth of all backgrounds a positive and empowering soccer experience.

In early 2013, Rush staff from the US will travel to Cameroon to collaboratively implement an African Rush Festival for up to 240 youth.
