Samara Lino, Luci Brazil, Andressa Pereira, Pereira Stefane, and Rafaela Bastos spent one week training at Florida Rush, alongside the club’s U16 Rush girls team. The Brazilian girls had the opportunity to learn more about the soccer culture in the United States and experience firsthand the training methodology of the Rush Way, here in the United States. The girls also had the chance to watch some live college soccer alongside FL Rush athletes, visit some local universities, and visit most of the theme parks.
According to Samara Lino, 15 years old, one of the most important factors of the trip was the interaction with top athletes of their age in such a high-level environment. She said, “I was impressed by the quality of the players and most of all, the structure in which they train. This trip was very eye-opening for all of us and much better than we ever expected.”
Gustavo Brasil, one of Golden Goal Sports owners and a FL Rush head coach said, “Our goal was to give the girls the opportunity to experience, learn, and feel the soccer culture here in the United States. We can’t wait to have them come back and to also replicate the experience to all our future athletes.”
