The Texas Rush Soccer Club Recreational players & families ventured down in large numbers to watch the Houston Dynamo vs. LA Galaxy.
The Texas Rush had 400 Recreational & Competitive players and their families get involved with the Houston Dynamo on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Robertson Stadium. Players lined up on the field to meet and greet the teams in the rally tunnel in front of 30,000 people to watch the final home game at Robertson Stadium (University of Houston). Houston Dynamo won 3-1 in front of the biggest home attendance of the season.
“A once in a lifetime opportunity to greet the players as they take the pitch in front of the biggest crowd of the season at Robertson Stadium. Parents and Rush players lined up really early to get a chance to participate in the rally tunnel. It was quite an exciting moment and something that the people who participated will never forget. I’m really happy for those who got to experience this, and hopefully we can do this again in the near future. Everyone did a great job by supporting the club and wearing their Rush blue shirts, we looked like a sea of BLUE on the field. If you have a friend who doesn’t play for RUSH, please invite them out to the Spring season in one of our 3 locations (Conroe, The Woodlands and Spring) and we’ll look to provide this opportunity once again in the near future.” Johanna Sanchez, Recreational Administrator, Texas Rush Soccer Club.
