Texas Rush Captures First Ever National Cup!
Texas Rush has captured their first ever National Cup! Most states call it State Cup but in Texas they do things big. And big things are happening at Texas Rush where the club won not only their first National Cup title, they won two over the Memorial Day weekend! The winners will advance to Southern Regionals in Greensville, South Carolina June 14-20.
The U13 Texas Rush Prep, won their round robin group with a record of 4-0 and outscored their opponents by a combined 9-2 to capture the title.
The U14 PLW Boys won their group with a record of 3-0-1. Games of 0-0, 3-1, 4-2, and 4-0 saw the 14's through as top in the table. Both the 13's and 14's are coached by Esbai Luna.
The U14 Nike Blue Girls finished as National Cup Runners Up for their 2-1-1 record. A loss to eventual champion AHFC kept the Rush girls from the title. The team is coached by Milton Arraez.
