Legal Representation
2012 03.18 – Technical Directors, many law firms are required to perform some type of pro-bono work for a non-profit. I would
recommend you reach out, if you have not already done so, to your membership solicit legal representation on your BOD. At present the Rush has anywhere from 6-12 attorneys working for us and donating their valuable time and knowledge (Attorney Directory). , Before spending your money, seek out your membership, i.e. send a letter, see here <Legal Assistance>.

Be diligent in communication with your membership that your corporation is a 501c3 Non-Profit. Provied a letter of servce or acknowledgment letter for tax purposes that includes your Tax EIN. <Here> is a copy of the Soccer Partners America Tax EIN (dba as Rush or Sports Partners International). Also, although attorney's can go to bat for you when legal issues arise, it is more important to keep in mind attorneys should keep you out of trouble by doing preliminary work. It is worth the investment.
