Natasha Davenport (U16 ECNL) and Carmen Webster (U17 ECNL) have been invited to the ECNL Player Development Program in Dallas taken place this weekend, March 9/10. Davenport and Webster are 2 of 60 girls selected from the Texas Conference based on their performances in the 2012/13 ECNL season.
Player Development Programs (PDPs) are regionally-based identification and development programs within US Club Soccer’s id2Program with three primary goals: (i) provide the top players within specified elite leagues with an opportunity to be identified and evaluated for higher levels of play; (ii) provide a developmental experience; and (iii) recognize and reward individual performance and achievement. PDPs are operated in conjunction with elite leagues sanctioned by US Club Soccer.
Each ECNL Player Development Program includes a training session and two 11 vs. 11 games. U.S. Soccer scouts are in attendance at each ECNL PDP to observe the players.
Cienna Arrieta (U16 ECNL) has also been recognized for her performances this season being named in the top 150 players (2016 graduates) in the country by Top Drawer Soccer. Arrieta is ranked #12 in the region. Full Story: http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/club-soccer-articles/2016-girls-img-academy-150-update_aid28525
