Record Setting Month for the Rush!

March was a record setting month for Colorado Rush as we saw eight players participate in National Team Camps or Trips. Rush has had several dozen players called into the various Youth and Full National Teams over the years, but have never had this many at the same time. Six of these players were from the girls side, and two were from the boys side.

US U20 Women’s National Team Trip to Spain (1992’s)- Lindsey Horan (GU17 Nike) made her debut of the U20’s. Lindsey, a member of the US U18 Women’s National Team was the youngest player on the trip. Played games against Sweden, England, Norway, and France. Tied everyone, except beat Norway 2-0. Lindsey started and played full game vs England and started against Norway. “There is a huge difference between playing with the 18’s and the 20’s," Lindsey commented. "Players are much faster and stronger and the style of play is much better.” The tournament was held in Alacante, Spain. Other than soccer, the only thing Linds did on her trip was go to the mall. Went to Denmark and Costa Rica with 17’s last year.
