Rush teams ready for USYS National Championships
For the first time in the history of Rush Soccer, three Rush teams, from three different Rush clubs (pictured at the Opening Ceremony luncheon) will be playing at the USYS National Championships starting in Phoenix, Arizona on July 27th.
The U17 Boys bracket will be of interest to a large portion of Rush Nation as the U17 Nike boys from Florida Rush, and New Mexico Rush will not only compete, but will play one another on day 2. The boys play in a 6-team bracket with the winners of the 4 USYS Regionals and the top two teams from the USYS National league.
The U18 Colorado Nike girls will try to become the latest in a long line of National Champions from Colorado Rush and are attempting to win the first title since 2009. The girls will play in a 4-team bracket with the winners of the other 3 USYS Regions.
The harsh summer heat of Phoenix will cause games to be played in the early morning and late in the evening. Schedules for all three teams are below. Rushsoccer.com will have updates throughout the tournament.
