Kansas Rush U16 Nike Boys Win Denver Cup

The Kansas Rush Nike 95/96 U16 Men participated in the 2011 Colorado Rush hosted Denver Cup August 4-7th, winning the Mens U16/17/18 Gold bracket.   In pool play, the Kansas Rush Nike 95/96 Men defeated the Westminister AFC Samba from Colorado 3-1 and Gilbert SC Arsenal FC from Arizona 3-0 while losing to the U17 Dallas Fort Worth Tornado’s 0-3. Later, the Kansas Rush men advanced to the finals against the Dallas Forth Worth Tornado’s where they beat them 1-0 in an exciting back and forth game. Coach Daouda Kante, Technical Director for Kansas Rush, has just assumed the reigns of this team for the 2011-2012 season and he was very impressed with the teams overall attitude and work ethic through out the entire tournament . The Kansas Rush men are off to join their high school teams until November and upon their return he is looking forward to a very successful winter and spring season.
