Rush Alumni To Battle For MLS Cup

Former Colorado Rush players Todd Dunivant and Colin Clark will battle it out for the MLS Cup on Sunday, November 20th.

Newly appointed Rush Soccer Board of Director member Dunivant, and the LA Galaxy defeated Real Salt Lake 3-1 to advance to the final while Clark and the Houston Dynamo topped KC Sporting 2-0. The two teams split the season series with both teams winning their home game.

Houston finished the season in second place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 12 wins, 13 draws and nine losses. LA topped all of MLS with 19 wins, 10 draws and only five losses.

Also on the roster in this game is Evan Newton, the first Rush player, outside of Colorado, to play in the MLS. Evan grew up playing in the Virginia Rush.
