Oregon Rush Capture 5 State Cup Titles

Salem, OR - On May 7, Oregon Rush claimed 5 Oregon Youth Soccer State Championships on the rain soaked fields of CFC Soccer park.  Congratulations to the U13, U14, U15, U16 and U17 Girls Nike teams, who swept through the State Cup this year.  Also, congratulations oto the 96 Boys Nike team, who lost a heart breaker in the final, falling 2-1 to CFC Boca with only 2 minutes remaining in the second OT.

The U16 Girls Nike got things started off with a bang in the first game of the day, defeating Rogue Valley SC 4-1 paced by 2 goals from Alyssa Pease.  The U15 Girls Nike (pictured) played next, and 2 goals from Zoe Higgins led them to a 3-0 defeat of RVSC as well.  The Oregon Rush girls dominance continued in the afternoon games, as the U14 Girls Nike also defeated RVSC 1-0. The U13 Girls Nike wrapped up the day by coming back from a 1-0 deficit to secure a 3-1 win and their first state championship.  The U17 Girls Nike had previously secured their 4th State Championship.

All 5 Oregon Rush teams advance to the Far West Regional Championships in Boise, ID, to be held June 20-26.  Congratulations players, coaches and fans on a great showing!
