4 Winners and a Wild Card in NM State Cup

NM Rush Soccer Club will have five teams at the 2012 USYS Far West Regionals in Phoenix, Arizona June 18-24.  NM Rush will send four NMYSA State Champions and one NMYSA Wildcard Finalist to Phoenix.  NM Rush won state cups in the following age groups; U13B, U14B, U17B, and U18G.  NM Rush will send its U18B’s as a wildcard team as they were again a 2012 state finalist.  This will be the first time in the history of NM Rush were the club has five teams represented at the Regional level.  Last year NM Rush sent three teams to Boise, ID where two teams reached the quarter-finals and the U17B (now 18's) team won a Regional Championship and represented the state of New Mexico at USYS Nationals in 2011 in Phoenix.  Technical Director, Justin Sells stated, “Our success this year is a testament to the hard work of our players and dedicated coaching staff.  We had 8 teams in the state finals with a balance of 4 girls and 4 boys teams.  Our expectations moving forward are to continually develop top talent that will represent the state of New Mexico at Regionals and to win another Regional Championship.”
