Day three of the 2012 Region I championships is one that Delaware Rush would rather forget as all 7 teams missed out on the semifinal rounds to be played Monday. Several teams finished in second of their group but because Region I does not have a quarterfinal round, all 7 teams found themselves on the wrong end of the table.
New York Rush on the other hand was the lone Rush team to advance on the day after winning their bracket going 3-0-0. They will play Seacoast United of New Hampshire on Monday morning as they look for the first Regional Championship for New York Rush.

Day IV - The U17 New York Rush girls were the lone Rush team left playing today at the Region I Championships in Lancaster, PA. Some early miscues and unlucky bounces resulted in a 3-2 loss to Seacoast United of New Hampshire. The loss means that the U18 Florida Rush boys will be the lone representatives for Rush Soccer at the USYS National Championships later this month in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Rushsoccer.com will have reports during finals week July 24-29.
