Golden Goal Wins Fest 22

Day 3 of the U13 Rush Festival is in the books as is the years Fest 22 event. The morning games were a bit more lop-sided than day 1 though some good soccer was displayed in each game. The morning games allowed coaches to better customize the afternoons techincal training sessions. Forwards, midfielders and defensive players received position specific training including crossing and finishing, midfield combination play and defensive tracking and clearance. 

The evening saw the Fest 22 event played. Brison Clark scored the lone goal in the game leading his team over the Mancini-esqe coaching (and stylings) of Sonny Landry's team. Both teams shared some thoughts after the game:

After the Fest 22 event, players enjoyed a BBQ and social event with live music and trading of state items.

Day 4 features morning games and small sided tournament 'street soccer' play before the attendees  attend a local Virginia Beach Piranas (PDL) game.
