Florida Boys Finish Runner Up at Disney

The U14 Florida Rush boys participated in Disney's Preseason Soccer Kick-Off 2012 tournament and had a very successful weekend.  After going 3-0 in their pool matches (scoring 23 goals and only giving up 1!) they faced a very strong Orlando City team (currently ranked #2 in the state) in the semi-finals.  The match was even at full-time and our boys fought hard for the go-ahead goal in the 2nd period of extra time.  They went on to face a very tough FC America (currently ranked #4 in the state) in the finals.  The match was scoreless at half time but our boys gave up 2 goals late in the 2nd half and had to settle for 2nd place.  We are very proud of how hard the boys played and are looking forward to a great season.
