Colorado Strikers Headed to Korea!
U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team head coach B.J. Snow has named 20 players for a trip to the Korea Republic from Aug. 25-Sept. 4 where the squad will play multiple matches against the host. Joining the 17's will be Colorado Rush strikers Civana Kuhlmann and Tess Boade who were both part of a U15 Training camp earlier this year.
On Tess and Civana being the only two from the same club at the same position, CO Rush Head Coach Cameron Bushey said, “Civana and Tess are two dangerous and effective young players, and they compliment each other really well. They prove that consistently with their team here in the ECNL. Now they’ll get the chance to get to do the same together on the international level. For their team, for their club and for themselves, that is special.”
This will be the first international trip for this group of players at the U-17 level. The U-17s last gathered for a domestic training camp from June 15-22 in Chula Vista, California.
