Tim Amlong, Technical Director of Bino SC states, "I am excited about becoming Missouri Rush. With what Bino's SC has in place now, as far as training and competitive teams, it was important for me to take the next step for the kids to get the best experience out of soccer that they could. I feel like Avalon SC help us get there with the structure side of things and the combining of the two clubs together to form more competitive teams with bigger numbers. After looking into the RUSH Soccer Program it was a no brainer for me, All the resources that Rush has to offer the kids, the coaches, the parents, and the soccer community here in St. Louis made me think there was no other place to go or be. I look forward to being part of the RUSH family for many many years."
Avalon currnently has 28 teams and has been in exsistence for over 25 years, while Bino is smaller at 13 teams and has been around since 2004. Rush currently has licensing and services agreement's with 28 domestic and 18 international partnerships world wide.
Nik Bushell, President of Avalon SC says, "Personally, I'm extremely excited about the opportunities that we will be able to offer our players and teams by the synergies of both our coming together with Bino's SC and our joining of Rush Soccer Club. The Rush Way works well with our current structure of a club run by its coaches and with the additional tools and opportunites that Rush brings along with the training structure of Bino's, we will look to become one of the best clubs in the area."
Lee Riley of Idaho Rush brought Tim Amlong and the two clubs to the attention of the Rush. "This was a good fit. St. Louis is a hot bed for soccer. The partnership will be beneficial for each other. We have been part of the Rush for 6 years and it has been a wonderful partnership," commented Riley.
