Rush Freshman Making Waves
Several Rush Alumni, who are now Freshman in college, have started off their first year at the next level with great success according to the Topdrawersoccer.com Freshmen Top 100 Rankings.
Leading the way is Mallory Weber (pictured) from Michigan Rush who is ranked No. 4 in the country. The Penn State Forward has scored 8 goals and added 2 assists for the 12-2-0 Nittany Lions. Weber was named Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week (with Colorado Rush alum Hannah Clark of Iowa) for scoring 2 goals against Indiana over the weekend. The Freshman of the week honor marks the third so far this fall for Weber.
Kristen Parr from Oregon Rush is ranked No. 74 in the Top 100. The University of Oregon Forward leads the team with 7 goals and 14 points through 14 games.
Maddie Kiebel from Colorado Rush is ranked No. 87. the Charlotte Midfielder has helped the 49ers to a 9-3-1 record so far and a 3-0 start in the Atlantic 10 conference.
Victoria Barba of the New Mexico Rush (No. 90) has helped the San Diego State Aztecs to a 12-1-1 start. SDSU is ranked in the top 10 in the country.
