The Rush Select International Rush Cup wrapped up with an unforgettable showcase of talent, camaraderie, and thrilling matches in Palm Beach, Florida. Players from around the US competed alongside teams from Canada, Bolivia, Barbados, and Puerto Rico.

“What a weekend for the Select program and Rush Soccer,” said Jacob Lissek, Rush Select Director. “From the 60 Rush clubs represented with players to the coaches and SPI staff, there were so many amazing memories created during the 2024 International Rush Cup.”

Some of the weekend’s best moments included Rush alumni Mikayla Carkhuff (Rush Wisconsin West) and Nico Villalobos (Miami Rush), both former Rush Select players, returning to inspire the next generation. Now NCAA Division I athletes, shared valuable advice with aspiring players.

Another highlight was Friday’s electrifying “Game of the Day,” where chants, dancing, and endless energy brought the action to life. From spectacular goals and celebrations to game-changing saves, the event was a powerful reminder of what makes the Rush community so special.
