TOPSoccer (Thunder)

TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, age 5-21, who has a mental or physical disability. The Rush Thunder is a member of USYS, Total Outreach Program for Soccer (TOPS). This is a national program for soccer players with special needs and was established to promote the game of soccer in a unique segment of our club’s community. The Thunder will play once a week for eight weeks in both or each season culminating with a Player-Parents game or a tournament with another TOPS Soccer Program locally. The program is free for all its players with only ONE prerequisite for each player…he or she must want to have fun playing the game of soccer.
