San Diego Rush Soccer: The Next Chapter Begins

January 15, 2026

Rush Soccer is proud to welcome San Diego Rush Soccer into the Rush family.

This marks the start of an exciting new chapter built around opportunity, development, and connection. Beginning with the 2026–2027 season, the San Diego East campus will operate as San Diego Rush Soccer, fully aligned with the Rush Soccer pathway and global network.

Their focus is simple and unwavering: helping players grow, compete, and thrive on and off the field.

Why They Choose Rush

Rush Soccer is built on a cooperative club model designed to elevate the youth soccer experience at every level. That means shared standards, proven development methods, and access to opportunities that extend far beyond one field, one team, or one season. As part of Rush Soccer, San Diego players and families will be connected to:

  • A nationally and internationally aligned player development pathway
  • Shared coaching education and training methodology
  • Increased access to regional, national, and international playing opportunities
  • A values-driven environment focused on long-term growth, not short-term results

Rush Soccer supports more than 60,000 players across the United States and around the world, united by a common vision and a shared commitment to doing what is right for players.

Players will continue to train, compete, and represent their community while gaining access to a broader soccer ecosystem. From grassroots players just starting their journey to those pursuing elite pathways, Rush Soccer is built to support every stage of development.

Looking Ahead

The transition into San Diego Rush Soccer will follow a phased and intentional approach, beginning with designated programs and age groups. Club leadership, staff, and volunteers are fully engaged to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all members.

Additional informational meetings for families, players, and coaches will be announced soon, along with details on programming, timelines, and branding updates.

This is about more than a name. It is about community, opportunity, and building something strong together.

Welcome to San Diego Rush Soccer! The journey forward starts now.
