SWMO Rush Player Tristan Johnson Signs with Sporting Kansas City Academy

SWMO Rush is proud to congratulate Tristan Johnson on officially signing with the Sporting Kansas City Academy.

Tristan’s achievement reflects years of dedication, consistent work, and a commitment to improving each day. Developed the Rush Way at SWMO Rush, he has continued to embrace new challenges while building the technical ability, confidence, and character needed to advance within the game.

His journey highlights the strength of the Rush player pathway. After beginning his development with SWMO Rush, Tristan earned opportunities through Rush Select to train and compete alongside talented players from across the country. Those experiences provided valuable exposure to high level competition, including matches against many of the nation’s leading clubs.

Tristan’s continued growth also led to national team recognition, another important step in a pathway shaped by preparation, performance, and opportunity. His signing with the Sporting Kansas City Academy represents the next chapter in that journey and gives him the chance to continue developing in a demanding professional academy environment.

For players and families throughout the Rush community, Tristan’s story is a meaningful example of what can be possible when local development is connected to broader opportunities. His progress was built over time through daily effort, support from coaches and family, and a willingness to make the most of each experience along the way.

The entire Rush family is proud of Tristan and all he has accomplished. As he begins this exciting new chapter in Kansas City, SWMO Rush, Rush Select, and the wider Rush community will be cheering him on.

Congratulations, Tristan. Once Rush, Always Rush.

Go Rush!
