Rush Soccer is proud to recognize Jeremiah Kirschman, Technical Director for Montana Rush, for helping lead Team USA’s Over-40 Men’s National Soccer Team to a bronze medal at the Senior World Cup in Thailand.
Team USA earned wins over Taiwan and Thailand before falling narrowly to France in penalty kicks in the semifinal. The group responded with a 3-0 victory over Australia to secure third place.
Kirschman’s preparation and tactical leadership played an important role throughout the tournament. U.S. Senior Men’s National Team Head Coach David Jones praised his approach, saying, “Kirsch, you are by far the most analytical coach I have ever had the pleasure of working with.”
Team captain Matthew Lucas also recognized his impact on the group’s success.
“He is an exceptional tactician whose preparation, leadership, and attention to detail played a significant role in our success, helping us record four clean sheets throughout the tournament,” Lucas said.
For Rush, Jeremiah’s achievement reflects the lifelong impact of the game and the type of leadership valued across the network. His experience is a reminder that soccer continues to create opportunities to compete, lead, and represent something bigger than yourself.
Kirschman also credited the Rush coaches and programs that have supported his development.
“Thank you to all the Rush coaches I’ve worked with at Montana Rush, Rush Fest, IRC, SSA Futsal, and at college showcases with Rush CAP,” he said. “I’ve learned a lot from the different Rush coaches I’ve been on the sidelines with and collaborated with over Zoom. Thank you to Montana Rush for allowing me to represent the USA on the international stage.”
Rush Soccer congratulates Jeremiah and Team USA on this outstanding accomplishment. As a Rush community, we are proud to have leaders like Jeremiah who are committed to developing players, shaping their experience, and helping them grow on and off the field.
