Lucky Mkosana
Lucky Mkosana, originally from Plumtree, Zimbabwe, began playing soccer at age five with the support of his family and friends. In 2007, he was scouted by Jeff Cook at a showcase in Bulawayo, which led to an opportunity to study and play in the U.S. at Kimball Union Academy and Dartmouth College. Lucky went on to win two National American Soccer League titles with the New York Cosmos and currently plays for the Tampa Bay Rowdies. He has also played for IFK Mariehamn, Penn FC, and Louisville City FC.
As the founder of BYS Academy (Bridging Youth through Soccer), Lucky provides underprivileged players with access to sports and education. His role as a Rush Changes Lives Ambassador allows him to give back to Africa through sport and education.
